Often referred to as a concrete masonry unit or cmu a standard split face cinder block is 8 by 8 by 16 inches made of concrete and features a textured pattern on only one side. A concrete building unit which appears to have been hand chiseled or split to give it a very textured look. This 8 wide load bearing block has a rugged natural texture on one side and is ideal for structural walls. This block is available in two different colors to fit with the design scheme of your project.
